The Book BFFs also did our first monthly combined book haul!
WOW: Uninvited

I'll admit it.  I failed miserably at the Wildfire Readathon!  I happened to take naps during the twitter chats and I just got so busy with other things I hardly read.  I didn't even do any reviews this week you guys.  #MajorFail  But I am very proud of my dating game post so you should check that out because I worked really hard on it!
*Beautiful Stranger (review Monday)
*Heartbeat (review next week)
*Top Ten Books at top of my summer TBR
*RTT (this one is music themed!)

The Literary Dating Game

Ever see that t.v. show where the three guys sit on one side of a wall and the girl on the other and asks each guy questions...the girl then has to pick which guy she wants to date based only on his answers?  Well this is going to be exactly like that show, but even better.  Because this is going to be with book boys, which let's be serious, it doesn't get any better than that.

All you have to do is read the answers from your three potential book boyfriends.  When you've made a decision click on which bookish guy you'd like to date to find out who you're true match is!  Let me know in the comments who you got and if you'd go on a date with him if he were real.

Bachelor #1 if you could go back in time and change one thing what would it be?
If I could I'd go back--I'd appreciate my mom and spend more time with her.

What is your favorite color?
I'd definitely have to say red.  It's just such a powerful color and it looks good on me.

What is your best quality?
This is a tough question because I've got so many great qualities.  Beside my hot bod, killer sense of style, and charming personality?  I'd have to say that I'm protective of those I love.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Well, my boss is really demanding so I hardly have any free time to myself.  I'm surprised I'm admitting this, but I love to hang out with my new friends.

Bachelor #2 if you could go back in time and change one thing what would it be?
I'd go back to the day I let the girl of my dreams get away and not let her leave this time.

What is your favorite color?
Black like a crisp suit.

What is your best quality?
I'm tough on the outside, but inside I do have a heart, somewhere...I only let certain people see the true me.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to read.

Bachelor #3 if you could go back in time and change one thing what would it be?
I'd go back and be more assertive and less shy.

What is your favorite color?
Yellow.  It's a really cheerful color.

What is your best quality?
I try to be nice to everyone.  People say I'm "the boy next-door"type.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I love inventing new stuff or just taking walks around the block.

Waiting On Wednesday #23

Hosted by Jill from Breaking The Spine

You can’t change your DNA…even when it says you’re a murderer.

When Davy tests positive for Homicidal Tendency Syndrome, aka “the kill gene,” she loses everything. Once the perfect high school senior, she is uninvited from her prep school and abandoned by her friends and boyfriend. Even her parents are now afraid of her—although she’s never hurt a fly. Davy doesn’t feel any differently, but genes don’t lie. One day she will kill someone.

Without any say in the matter, Davy is thrown into a special class for HTS carriers. She has no doubt the predictions are right about them, especially Sean, who already bears the “H” tattoo as proof of his violence. Yet when the world turns on the carriers, Sean is the only one she can trust. Maybe he’s not as dangerous as he seems. Or maybe Davy is just as deadly.

March 2014

A test that can tell you if you're a killer?!  Can you imagine what it would be like if we could actually test that?  It's such an interesting concept and I can't wait to see this world the author has created.  Also, the fact that the main character doesn't know who she is anymore after her diagnosis makes me want to read about her journey even more.  Will she kill someone?  What is this Sean guy like?  I can't wait to find out.  Too bad we have to wait until March of next year!

Top Ten Beach Reads

Hosted by: Jamie from Broke and the Bookish

This Week's List:
June 11: Top Ten Beach Reads

All of these books were light and fun and perfect for a lazy day at the beach.  Losing it and How Zoe MHDMCT made me laugh a few times.  Cam in Wait For You is so swoon worthy it's ridiculous.  Jase in My Life Next Door is adorable.  And The Art of Wishing is really unique and cute.

I'm beyond excited the new Sarah Dessen book is finally out.  Her books always make me wish it was summer.  Simone Elkeles never fails to provide a perfect romantic story.  I hear Hazards of SD is really hot and just looking at that cover makes me think it's about summer too.  And road trip books are always perfect for the beach.

What will you be reading this summer?

Beautiful Stranger (Thank You Gallery Books for the audiobook)

The Book Depository sent me the copy of How My Summer WUIF instead of my giveaway winner and then they refused to help me.  So I ordered it again.  The address got messed up again, but I caught it in time so they canceled it.  And I ordered it again.  If this freaking book doesn't ship right I'm going to either cry or scream.  Has anyone else had problems with TBD?

Review: All I Need (2 Stars) & Every Little Piece (5 Stars) <----read this review! Such a good book!

Vlog: Review&Recipe (Unravel Me & Coconut Cookies) & Kickass Heroines (Then and Now)

This week I stopped and smelled the roses, literally.  I went to the park and saw some beautiful flowers and then read in the gorgeous weather under shade.  It was the perfect day!  I also spent this week in doctors' offices, but that's nothing new these days.  I made a book jar which will help me pick my next reads since I WANT TO READ THEM ALL!!!

This upcoming week I'm participating in The Wicked Wildfire Readathon.  It's going on until the 14th so come join in the fun!
