This week's question:

Q: What is one book that you would be nervous to see a movie adaption of because you think the movie could never live up to the book?

I think I am most nervous about Divergent becoming a movie someday.  This is one of my favorite books and I would be really mad if the film industry messed it up.  I think, like The Hunger Games, there is so much inner dialogue Tris has that it would be difficult to portray that in a film.  I still hope they make it into a movie though!

Leave comments with a link to your Follow Friday/Feature & Follow and I'll be sure to check it out!

  2. I was surprised that HG turned out as well as it did -- so it gives me hope that this could possibly be a good movie one day (wishful thinking :))

  7. Hi! I'm a new follower hopping by!

Lovely answer! I think as long as the author has a voice and participates in the decisions needed for the movie, the movie will turn out fine.

  8. Surprised at HG here too. Divergent was awesome, I hope they get someone good to play Tris and Four. And yes, the dialogue bit is a problem. With Hunger Games it was all run, bash, survive. New follower http://www.fictionflaire.blogspot.in/2012/04/feature-and-follow-friday.html

  15. Divergent is a great book. And it could be a great movie, if it's done right. I feel torn too, because I'd love to see a great movie of it, but I'd rather not see a movie made at all if it's just going to be horrible!

  18. I know what you mean about The Hunger Games, but I think the movie turned out to be awesome!

I would still love to see a Divergent movie ;)

  19. I'd be really nervous if The Black Company series by Glen Cook was turned into a movie. It could be really good, but it could just as easily be really awful.
