Joining a sorority is a lot like Divergent...

You join greek life on campus and the day you accept your invitation, Bid Day, every organization gathers to see who chose their sorority or fraternity.  You wear your sorority's colors and sit with them in the stands!

That night you celebrate with your new friends and find yourself surrounded by older frat boys.  This is your expression.

Luckily I never experienced hazing, but some organizations still make their new members do crazy stuff.  So this would be the time that would happen.

Soon Initiation day comes and it involves weird rituals, but you just go along with it and pretend it's not weird.  If it was good enough for your founders in the early 1900's it's good enough for you!

After initiation life is full of crafts, bonding, parties, and volunteering.  You're in your own little compound away from the rest of the world and you realize...

You're going to have to leave this new family in four years and join the real world.

So you enjoy every minute of every day with your best friends.

You find out what it feels like to belong.  And it feels great.  It feels like home.

You discover this new platform to be someone you never thought possible.  To try things you were to scared to try before, but now you've got a whole group of people cheering you on.  It makes you stronger, more confident, and helps you become the person you were meant to be.

You're life is changed.
