(#5)
This week's musing asks:

What is the longest book you have ever read? How long did it take you to read it?

I'd probably have to say Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix since it's like 800 something pages.  I don't remember how long it took me to read it, but probably only a few days since I loved that series.

I remember reading the last book of the HP series the day I got my wisdom teeth out (Summer of 2007).  My mind was so hazy from the pain killers yet I managed to finish the book in one day.  Not sure I remembered much of what happened...maybe I should reread it soon haha.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Harry Potter, #5)

What was the longest book you've read?

I'll be posting a review for Anna Dressed in Blood later today.

  1. The HP books are pretty long, but they're so entertaining that you don't even notice :)

  2. I had difficulty with this question, as when I visited other blogs, another chunkster would show up that I'd read...and forgotten about!

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

  3. The longest that I've EVER read is Flowers in the Attic and Petals on the Wind by VC Andrews. It's like, they put two books in one binding. But the two books doesn't feel separated at all. The second one in the series picked up right where it left.

  5. This was my longest book too, other than all the textbooks/omnibus I have. I should probably reread them, maybe I'll have a different perspective now!

    Thanks for commenting earlier!

  7. I didn't even notice how long the Potter books were because I loved them so much! My go-to big book author is always Stephen King.
