Sunday Post & Stacking the Shelves #35

12:00 AM

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by  Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.  Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.  Both are a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and talk about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

A Beautiful Struggle was free on Kindle this week so I snatched that bad boy up right away.  A big thanks to Soho Press for the copy of Strangelets and Allison Rushby for The Heiresses.  Friday I was in a meh mood because I'm getting very bored of being sick.  So my mom took me to B&N to cheer me up.  I bought Sweet Peril which I have been anxiously waiting for to come out.  Hanging out with my mom and getting this book def made my day a lot better!

Harley Bear Post #6: e-newspaper bookish news

The wedding last weekend was AMAZING.  We couldn't have asked for better weather.  My sister looked gorgeous in her wedding gown.  While we were taking pictures outside this car stops in the middle of the road and a lady jumps out.  She starts yelling "Just wanted to tell you you look gorgeous!" to my sister.  Then her husband starts driving away because she's talking to us too long and she chases after him.  It  was hilarious!

In the bookish world, I read a lot this week and signed up for all sorts of fun stuff.  I'm super excited for Bout of Books next week.  I'm going to be hosting a challenge on May 16th with a GIVEAWAY so make sure you stop back if you're participating.  Also, I just got an instagram account and I'm doing the #bsmphotoaday for May again.  It's tons of fun so you should join in.
